My story is probably a lot like yours
I spent 25 years in a corporate role. Long hours, constant travel, balancing the demands that come with a senior role with family life.
From the outside I looked fine. I raced triathlons and marathons and ate well. But inside I was running on empty and I could feel it catching up on me.
But the thing that really set my course was my mum. She hit her mid-40s and started collecting chronic conditions, one after another, and I watched the version of her I knew change.
I saw the impact that life limiting illness really has on quality of life, for everyone involved. So I decided, whilst still fairly young myself, that I didnât want that to be my future, and I didnât believe it had to be.
So I went deep looking for answers. I trained at Harvard Medical School in lifestyle medicine and became the UKâs first coach certified by the Human Longevity Institute.
What I learned changed how I understood energy and ageing completely. How much energy you have comes down to how healthy your cells are, and you have far more control over that through your lifestyle choices than anyone tells you.Â
I rebuilt my own systems from the ground up and I didnât just feel a bit better. I felt sharper, more alive and more capable than I had in years.
